Randy Raccoon

Randy Raccoon’s origin is not a pleasant one. Counselor Jonathan first encountered Randy (Randi) during the Coastal Counselor Era of 2024. While cleaning up their rented cabin, Jonathan opened the trash can outside to be confronted with this trash panda. Randy reached up, grabbed Jonathan’s shirt, and (allegedly) called him the f-slur, causing the counselor to scream and run, closing the trash can lid. Randy was still trapped. Counselor Zachariah arrived with their friend Mia in an attempt to help free the potentially rabies infected raccoon. As seen in a video posted on August 5 titled “Coastal Counselors 2024 Vlog Part 3” after several attempts, they were able to set Randy free. Unsure if it was a male or female, Jonathan dubbed the attacker “Randy” or “Randi”. They would go on to share the encounter in episode 98 of The Camp Counselors Podcast. The Counselors also shared this story with Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast Off the Vine titled “Awkward Moments and Raccoon Run-ins with the Camp Counselors”
